Many of you may not be familiar with Gali, better known as Galacta. In truth neither was I until playing Marvel Rivals, intrigued by her prescence as an omniscient and seemingly all-powerful being I looked her up to see if she was an invention for the game or indeed a true comic book character.

Having read a bit of her lore it states that she is the ‘Daughter’ of Galactus, in truth she is a parasitic being that was born within Galactus and fed of him until she could exist indepedently. Like her father Gali ‘Galacta’ must consume cosmic matter, but unlike him she choses only to consume beings foreign to earth that pose a dirrect threat to the planet’s peace.

She is in that sense a kind god that see’s herself as the guardian of Earth and at the same time a young woman who exists upon the planet and leads a fairly regular life.

Given this setup I believe it is not too far-fetched to suggest Gali might use her limitless power to go a bit… Overboard.

In her zealous protection of Earth Gali has sought out all Heroines capable of causing or attracting world threatening events. From a mere S.H.I.E.L.D agent to Miss Marvel herself there is no-one outside of Gali’s sight, if they influence mankind then they need to be contained.

So how to accomplish this? Gali herself is nothing like her father, she is kind in her own way but often mis-understands the needs and emotions of mere or near mortals and even immortals. As such her ‘Humane’ solution to containment seems anything but to you or I. Gali has acquired a massive army of mechs and converted her Moon-based summer home into a Moon-based permanent ‘Hotel’ as she calls it. To us mortals it is nothing less than the most secure prison facility the Orion Arm of the Milky Way has ever seen. surround by powerful mechs boasting every hero countermeasure known to creation and only traversable via teleportation. There is simply no escape.

50 square kilometres of impenetrable adamantium fashioned into a clinical white and so large as to bee seen from earth this facility is known to mankind as the Global Threat Containment Facility (G.T.C.F.), Gali swears it is merely a long-stay Hotel-resort, her guests would beg to differ if only they weren’t gagged .

And so with her ‘Hotel’ up and running it comes down to Gali to initiate her great work for her beloved foster race; Humanity. She calls it:

Gali’s Heroines Hazardous to Human Health Protocol (with the delightfully clunky acronym ‘G.H.H.H.H.P. ‘ or simply ‘Gip’ for verbal use)

The work starts now and first things first is the question square on Gali’s mind, which Heroine should be first to appreciate her accomodations?

Gali has a good clue, yes, a certain Red-Head S.H.I.E.L.D agent would be an easy start indeed…
